Association of Independent Riders Forum
The Association of Independent Riders sponsored a legislative forum on 7/11/06 at the Bellechester American Legion. Incumbents and Challengers were both present at the state and federal levels to answer questions posed by the motorcyclists. Some of the issues discussed were mandatory helmet laws, better education, and stiffer penalties for drivers who injure and kill bikers.

Wing workers and gets new boots too!
Steve met with workers and shoppers alike at
Red Wing Shoe Company's Centennial Warehouse sale
on July 31st. In addition to meeting with many
folks that day, Steve bought himself a brand new
pair of Red Wing work boots - at a remarkable
price!
This 877 style boot was constructed by Red Wing
Shoe Company employees at Plant 1. The giant boot
is a size 638D! It will be officially measured
by the Guiness Book of World Records for inclusion
in the next edition.
Memorial Day near Zumbro
Falls
America's heros were
remembered on Memorial Day at Dale Pleasant Cemetery,
south of Zumbro Falls. Steve was honored to be asked
to speak at the ceremony. He is joined here by Pastor
David Mohler and cemetery board President, Al Whipple.
